Relationship with Money

Many people separate money matter from spirituality. The truth couldn’t be more opposite: money is spiritual. The reason is that anything that is created from the human mind and not found in the nature – money being one of them – is manifested from spirit to matter. Therefore, how you use money is how you use your energy or spirit.
Money flowing is an exchange of energy between a buyer and a seller, in the form of ideas, transactions, credit, services, and solutions. You earn money through spending time and effort to provide a value to the society, thus money is actually your energy stored in latent form. When you spend money, you are exchanging your energy for what matters to you.
For many who pursue spiritual path, there is a likelihood they could ‘make money wrong’. Very often, many religious doctrines criticise the pursuit of material wealth and in some cases, even condemn those who are wealthy. Just like any other beliefs, there is no right or wrong – having less money doesn’t make you more spiritual, and having more money doesn’t make you evil. Whether money is compatible with spirituality depends more on the intent than the superficial content itself. And much of the world’s good work requires money as a catalyst.
Thus, the principle of managing money is similar with that of managing energy; you need to know how to prioritise and set the necessary boundaries so that you protect your vitality at all times. As with any relationship, it is worthwhile to review your beliefs about money so you can shape the right relationship with money.
